Borderlands 4 is Coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2025

Borderlands 4 has been announced to be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 sometime in 2025.

The announcement came via the Nintendo Direct, which is a one hour presentation focusing on the Nintendo Switch 2.

Randy Pitchford, founder and president of Gearbox Entertainment made the announcement during the direct, but didn’t give an exact release date as to when the game would release on the platform.

At the time of writing, Borderlands 4 is set to release on other platforms on September 23, 2025, so we’ll have to wait for further confirmation on when the game will launch on the Switch 2.

Nintendo Switch 2 launches on June 5, 2025.
