With a crazy amount of cash on the line, the upcoming BLAST R6 Major is going to be one for the books. With some of the greatest teams to ever touch Rainbow Six being involved, fans should expect nothing more than some of the most intense action ever seen within the game.

The event is set to take place in Montreal, hence the name, but how big is the prize pool? Where can people watch? So many questions are being asked regarding the BLAST R6 Major Montreal tournament.

How To Watch The BLAST R6 Major Montreal Tournament

The entire tournament will be broadcast live at the official Rainbow Six Siege Twitch, where viewers can attend from the comfort of their own homes for free.

The tournament will be taking place in Montreal, Canada from November 7 to November 17, 2024, and will be held at the Verdun Auditorium.

BLAST R6 Major Montreal

The event has a massive prize pool of $750,000 that the players will be competing for. Here is an official breakdown:

  • 1st: $350,000
  • 2nd: $260,000
  • 3rd-4th: $200,000
  • 5th-8th: $170,000
  • 9th-11th: $105,000
  • 12th-14th: $65,000
  • 15th-16th: $55,000
  • 17th-20th: $45,000

Tournament Structure And Format

The entirely of the BLAST R6 Major Montreal 2024 tournament event will take place over three phases. Each phase will consist of different brackets and formats, with the final phase having the Grand Finals.

Tournament Structure:

  • Phase 1: November 7 – 8, 2024
    • Eight-team Double-Elimination bracket.
    • Best-of-three matches.
    • Top four teams qualify to Phase 2.
  • Phase 2: November 10 – 13, 2024
    • 16-Team Swiss-System format.
      • All Elimination matches are best-of-three.
      • All other matches are best-of-one.
    • Top eight teams qualify to Phase 3.
  • Phase 3: November 15-17, 2024
    • Eight-Team Swiss-System format.
    • Quarter and Semi-Finals are best-of-three.
    • Grand Final is best-of-five.
      • Standard overtime rules apply.

Tournament Teams Competing

At the moment, no official teams are competing in the BLAST R6 Major Montreal tournament this November. However, as the Rainbow Six season continues, we will eventually get to see our 20 teams who will be heading to Canada later this fall.
