Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is out next week, and the marketing for the game is coming thick and fast. Recently, Activision released a PC launch trailer for the game, showcasing the campaign, multiplayer, and Zombies modes coming on October 25, and from the get-go, it was made clear that the trailer was AMD-heavy.
Looking Good
In the newest Black Ops 6 trailer, AMD is front and centre. It’s a PC launch trailer, and while the content is mostly the same as you’d see in a release trailer for the console versions of the game, there were a few fancy graphics reserved solely for PC gamers.
It opens with a massive caption: ‘All Footage Captured on AMD Hardware’, before leading into a few PC features and specifications and promising that AMD’s FSR 3.1 will be available at launch. This is the ‘FidelityFX Super Resolution’ technology that aims to boost image quality and frame rates in games.
There’s also a brief reference to 4K graphics and ultrawide resolutions being supported on this hardware.
Here’s the full trailer:
It’s a neat enough trailer that’s typical of new Call of Duty games, and it has me chomping at the bit to play it. This is the most highly anticipated Call of Duty game in years, and it should fully refresh the ecosystem that has been marred in recent years by the failures of Modern Warfare.
