Black Myth: Wukong’s Latest Patch Brings Balancing Changes and Bug Fixes

Black Myth: Wukong has just received patch 1.0.9.15179, which features some balancing adjustments and fixes for bugs and crashes.

Black Myth Wukong’s patch 1.0.9.15179 is 1.7GB, but players must reserve around 92GB of free disk space to update “due to the platform’s update mechanism”. Additionally, the patch may cause compatibility issues with some of the mods you have installed, so it is advisable to uninstall the mods and verify the integrity of the game before restarting.

Black Myth: Wukong Balancing Adjustments and Other Changes

Regarding balancing, the first changes players will observe in this Black Myth Wukong Patch are towards the combat experience for the Yaoguai King “Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master.” Additionally, the issue of the Destined One being pushed out of the invisible walls during specific Yaoguai Chief and King battles has been fixed.

Moreover, the Spikeshaft Staff will now increase your maximum mana by 30, and the Insect armour will considerably increase the effects of all medicine effects. The Black Myth Wukong patch will also reduce the narrowing effect of the timing window for Rock Solid Deflection imposed by the Great Safe Talent “Sound as A Bell (Fuming Ears).”

Furthermore, the Destined One can purchase the “Fine Gold Thread” material from Yin Tiger after Entering a New Cycle.

Bug Fixes

Firstly, the occasional crashing during particular boss fights for Windows systems if the Windows system language was set to Turkish on the PC version has been fixed, along with other crashes and errors. An issue preventing 100% completion from triggering has also been fixed.

The Black Myth Wukong patch brings fixes to enemy issues for times when they get stuck or become unbeatable in certain situations or under specific conditions. Also, there were issues with the menu interface affecting enemy skills; murals at the Great Pagoda weren’t displayed correctly, and character models in Flaming Mountains weren’t removed properly. All these issues have been fixed; you can check out all the other fixes in Black Myth Wukong patch 1.0.9.15179 here

In other news, Black Myth: Wukong might receive a DLC in early 2025. Also, according to recent claims, the game has earned almost $1 billion in gross revenue on Steam. What are your thoughts on the latest Black Myth Wukong patch? Let us know in the comments or our new community forum!
