A new claim regarding Black Myth: Wukong is giving some new insight into what players could expect to experience when it launches in August. This comes from leaker Lunatic Ignus on Twitter.
According to Ignus, Black Myth: Wukong features “around 160 enemy types” and “80+ bosses”. They go on to say that the game will have New Game+ at launch as well as multiple endings to experience.
“The game is slightly easier than soulsborne games,” they added.
As always, take the latest claims with a grain of salt until it’s either confirmed by the developer or independently verified by Insider Gaming.
First revealed back in 2020, Black Myth: Wukong is based on the 16th-century Chinese novel Journey to the West. In the game players control Sun Wukong, the legendary Chinese character for the novel. In the game he’s known as “the Destined One”.
Black Myth: Wukong releases August 20 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. It’s latest trailer was on Sunday, giving players a new look at the game.

Microsoft should really try getting this to launch in Game Pass and also Where Winds Meet. Those Chinese games are something they should pounce on also AIKode, Phantom Blade 0, Lost Soul Aside, and maybe try getting Reynatis.
They should get Bandai Namco/ Tencent to port the One Piece Project Fighter mobile game to consoles and on Game Pass.
Those numbers seem quite dubious in all honesty. High number of bosses reminds me of Dark Souls 2, a game that also had a huge amount of bosses but some being incredibly easy and boring mechanics. Either there are going to be a lot of copy/paste bosses or quite a few with shallow depth. Same with the 160+ enemies more than likely only being slight variations on each other or simple reskin/colour.
Phantom Blade 0 and lost soul aside are not coming to xbox or game pass they are playstation exclusives and i doubt Black Myth Wukong and Where Wind Meets would go to game pass especially day one
