Bethesda Game Studios is collaborating with Fallout for Hope to bring gamers a special ‘Fallout Day 2025’ broadcast on October 23. Known in the Fallout universe as ‘Bombs Drop Day’, October 23 has been an important date for fans for many years.
Fallout for Hope is a charitable endeavour that sees hundreds of fans, cosplayers, streamers, and creators join forces once a year to raise money for St Jude Children’s Hospital. It has grown exponentially over the years and is preparing to celebrate the fifth iteration of the special event.
The Apocalypse Isn’t All Bad
In 2020, Fallout for Hope hosted its first fundraising event, using Fallout as a creative platform. Today, the ecosystem has blossomed, and more than 750 creators and personalities take part in raising money for an extremely deserving cause once a year.
This year, on ‘Fallout Day’, Fallout for Hope will roll out a four-hour showcase spanning everything from cosplays to in-game fanmade films.
It’s being put together hand-in-hand with Bethesda Game Studios. Also on October 23, the creative team at BGS will host a broadcast diving into the future of Fallout 76, which saw massive growth this year because of the success of the Fallout TV show.
Creators are being invited to join the Fallout for Hope stream team and help make a difference by hosting their own fundraising initiatives. To date, Fallout for Hope has helped to raise more than half a million dollars for charity, and the network that supports the event is made up of representatives from more than 80 countries.
Bethesda Game Studios is preparing to go big for Fallout Day this year. It’s already more invested than in previous years, and some fans are holding out hope for an announcement of some kind. Perhaps Fallout 3: Remastered is on the horizon…
