The AMES 85 is an extremely easy-to-use weapon, as it has a fast fire rate but low recoil, which makes it a top Assault Rifle in the game.
While it may lack in damage in comparison to other options, it more than makes up for that with a great fire rate and recoil profile that’s very manageable.
Best alternatives to the AMES 85 in Black Ops 6
I’d recommend the XM4 as an alternative to the AMES 85, as it’s an AR that has a similar damage range and is also easy to use. If you’re looking for something that hits a bit harder, give the AK-74 a spin.
