It has been revealed that Firing Range is returning to Call of Duty when Season 03 launches in Black Ops 6 on April 2. The map has been remastered by Treyarch, which was revealed earlier today on social media. This is the first time the map has been seen in a main multiplayer title since Black Ops 4 in 2018.

Season 03 is set to be one of the most impressive updates in modern Call of Duty history. It will see the return of Verdansk for the first time since 2021, when it was abruptly stripped from Warzone in favour of Caldera. The reappearance of Verdansk is expected to bring back millions of players, many of whom haven’t played Warzone since the map was taken out of the game.
Additionally, Activision’s teams have worked to bring back to life several fan-favourite weapons, such as the Kilo 141, AMAX, and HDR sniper rifle. There will be plenty to get your teeth into on April 2nd, which is when Season 03 goes live in Black Ops 6.
Treyarch has also revealed that Firing Range will return to Call of Duty on April 2. The remastered map represents one of the most iconic battlegrounds in Call of Duty history. It was a map that first appeared in Black Ops in 2010, and way back then, it was one of the most adored maps in the rotation.

Love firing range…bit bored with bo6 so it needs more stuff
I’m super excited!!! Now if they would remaster Der Riese for everyone around that played the original religiously I can die a happy man. Get rid of Aim Assist! It has ruined the game!!! If you can’t Aim for yourself and learn then tuff titty! It’s created a generation of false heroes and it needs to be stopped now. A half cheat is still a cheat so end it!!!!
I’d love to see them bring back Carrier I loved that map….mostly waiting for zombies can’t wait!!!!

I just want cutthroat in BO6 but it wouldn’t be nearly as fun as MWIII since all the BO6 maps are trash.
Cod was built on aim assist. If you don’t like aim assist then why are you playing the game? They invented mine craft for people like you that feel the need to play a gun game on mnk kekw 🤣
I would love to see standoff … hijacked… express. For zombies would love to see buried make a come back. Weapons like the old peace keeper would be awesome.

It’s no wonder that I’m no longer into COD, after playing every addition to the franchise. With these stale maps and weapons being recycled every other game, you could’ve just re-released the same two games every other year and these mindless drones still would’ve bought it, as long as you gave them skins to use and executions to play with. I’m done. Give us a new conflict to fight in, with new characters… if you absolutely feel the need to rehash something, let it be zombies, but ffs, give us something new and not more micro-transactional bullshit.
