Batman Arkham Shadow has just received a stunning new trailer at the Summer Game Fest showcase, revealing this upcoming VR title in all its glory. Recently, an ESRB rating gave away some plot points, but the reveal trailer for the game gives us a better look at the core story of the game and some of the base mechanics.
It’s coming in Fall 2024 and it’ll be available exclusively on Meta Quest 3.

In the trailer shown today, we learned about Batman’s battle against The Rat King, a mysterious cult leader terrorising Gotham City.

In Batman Arkham Shadow, players will assume control of the Caped Crusader, voiced by Roger Craig Smith, as he attempts to rid Gotham City of the plague of The Rat King. It seems gritty, with Bats wondering ‘how far he’ll go’ to defeat this troublesome enemy. It has already been confirmed that Arkham Shadow sits between the events of Asylum and Origins in the timeline.
