Everybody’s favourite poker-based deck builder, Balatro, is now available on Xbox Game Pass, along with the latest Friends of Jimbo (Pack 4) expansion.
Announced during the ID@Xbox event, Balatro revealed their latest expansion, Friends of Jimbo (Pack 4). The new expansion will feature popular gaming franchises, including Bugsnax, Assassin’s Creed, Slay the Princess, Fallout, Critical Role, Rust, Dead by Daylight and Sid Meier’s Civilization VII. Within the Friends of Jimbo Pack 4 reveal trailer, the developers had tucked away an even more exciting announcement: Balatro is now available on Xbox Game Pass.
Balatro’s Friends of Jimbo Pack 4 expansion will include new cosmetic card skins for beloved characters from these popular franchises, including “Vault Boy, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, Percival Fredrickstein von Musel Klossowski de Rolo III and more.” The update is available now on PC, Consoles, and mobile.
Balatro was released a year ago, and since then, it has gathered massive appreciation from critics and the general community. Within that time, the game has sold over 5 million units, which is nothing short of commendable for an indie title. The game also won its appeal against PEGI ratings today, and Balatro will now be rated PEGI 12, compared to the previous PEGI 18 rating.
