Announced during the Indie World Showcase and Nintendo Direct, Balatro will be teaming with several other games for a collaboration.
The four games announced to be collaborating with Balatro were The Switch 3, Among Us, Vampire Survivors, and Dive the Diver. The update will be free and arriving later today. You can watch the announcement trailer below:
According to the announcement, the collaboration will be nothing more than cosmetic.
Balatro is one of 2024’s stellar releases, selling over two million units within six months. According to critics, the game is likely to be in the running for becoming at least The Game Awards’ Indie Game of The Year, with some, including myself, believing that it’s solely a Game of The Year contender, too.
