Astro Bot Was Second-Best Selling PS5 Game During Launch Week

Astro Bot’s release on the PlayStation 5 (PS5) is off to a good start.

In a post on social media on Monday, Circana’s Mat Piscatella touched on the game’s launch on September 6. According to Circana’s data, Astro Bot was the second-best selling game on PS5 in the United States for the week ending September 7. The only game it was behind in sales on the platform was NBA 2K25, which released in early access on September 4 before a worldwide release on September 6.

On top of the game having a “solid” first week, it was also revealed that the custom Astro Bot DualSense controller was the best-selling accessory for the week.

As of writing, no official sales numbers have been released for Astro Bot. The game is available now exclusively for PS5.

Amazing news... And I don't pre-order a game unless I know it'll be good so this is 100 % well deserved!
