Ubisoft Forward was a great event for AC fans, with the publisher officially revealing not one, but five brand-new Assassin’s Creed titles that are in development. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the first title set to be released, with Assassin’s Creed Red, Assassin’s Creed Hexe, Assassin’s Creed Invictus (multiplayer), and Assassin’s Creed Jade (mobile) set to release sometime in the future.
However, one more title was skipped from the event; Nexus. The announcement of the game could be a part of a future VR showcase, but with sources implying that the game is more complete than any other project announced, it was a little bizarre.
Assassin’s Creed Nexus
Nexus has already been officially announced to be in development by the publisher, but official details have not been confirmed. It’s understood that Nexus will have 16 individual missions as well as the ability for players to play as Assassins from past titles. As I exclusively reported via eXputer in April, Ezio, Kassandra, Connor, and Haytham will all be playable.
Nexus will contain all of the features you know and love from the franchise including pickpocketing, lockpicking, climbing, assassinations, combat, and even the leap of faith.

It is possible that the project could have been canned after it was announced earlier this year that the Splinter Cell VR project would no longer continue development. But it seems like that is not the case and we could be hearing more on Assassin’s Creed Nexus in the very near future.
For more Ubisoft news, Ubisoft CEO, Yves Guillemot has confirmed that Skull and Bones will have a $70 price tag.
