Arena Breakout: Infinite Season One Adds Female Characters and a New Map

Morefun Studios has revealed that Arena Breakout Infinite’s first season will begin in just a few weeks, in early November. This announcement went hand-in-hand with the unveiling of a sizeable roadmap and content delivery pipeline for the first season of this immersive extraction shooter title.

It was revealed that new maps, female character model customisation, new modes, and a battle pass system are all being introduced to ABI when the first season hits.

Plenty Coming

Arena Breakout: Infinite has remained fairly popular since entering early access on August 13. It has been given attention by some of the extraction world’s most prominent creators, which has helped the game’s profile immeasurably. I sat down with the developers at Gamescom to ask some all-important questions.

The first season of this live service extraction shooter will introduce a new map – TV Station. The team has also made changes to the existing suite of maps: Farm, Valley, and Armory. Players will be able to explore these maps while wielding new weapons: T03, Vector, and the MDR, to name a few.

With season one comes new female character models, a battle pass, new tasks, cosmetics, and skins.

The level of optimisations made to Arena Breakout: Infinite for season one has also gone pretty nuts. Morefun has adjusted the OP T7 goggles, adjusted memory and GPU requirements, and implemented a ‘cheater compensation’ mechanic.

All this goes hand-in-hand with new modes, special limited-time events, and community-driven changes.

Do you think season one of Arena Breakout: Infinite sounds good? Let us know on the Insider Gaming forum.
