Arena Breakout: Infinite Enters Early Access August 13

MoreFun Studios has just announced that Arena Breakout: Infinite, the ‘Tarkov-killing extraction shooter’, will enter early access on August 13. Following successful beta playtests, Arena Breakout: Infinite is ready to be taken to the next level. The MoreFun Studios team is confident that now is the right time to reveal the global roadmap that’ll be delivered once the game has entered early access.

Check it out below.

Get Ready to Breakout

In a statement addressing the beta test period, MoreFun’s Enzo Zhang, the producer of the game and the Head of MoreFun Studios said:

During the Closed Beta Test (CBT) earlier this year for Arena Breakout: Infinite, our team constantly improved the game, addressing bugs and adding new features. From our CBT learnings, we felt the best way to streamline and structure early access development was through our own official website. We feel this is the best and most collaborative development approach as we use this early access period to quickly deliver the most complete 1.0 version of Arena Breakout: Infinite on PC.

It was stressed that there will be ‘no strings attached’ to the game’s early access window, and this free-to-play extraction shooter that both looks great and runs well will be available to all on PC. It’s a solid contender to Escape from Tarkov, and the extraction shooter community has long awaited an alternative to the at times controversial Russian FPS.

Here’s the trailer for Arena Breakout: Infinite’s early access release:

MoreFun revealed that when it does enter early access, it’ll go hand-in-hand with a new map, a host of new weapons and equipment items, and other features such as a ‘killcam’ and spectate modes. Those latter elements have been at the top of the list of Tarkov players worldwide for years, but the developer, Battlestate Games, hasn’t ever implemented them.

Finally, ABI will get a ‘season’ system and the game has been optimised to run better on lower-tier PC hardware.

Will you be playing Arena Breakout: Infinite when it’s released on August 13?
