Your time and effort are recognized in Pokémon TCG Pocket with regular rewards for leveling up. Not only does your player profile rank increase, but your inventory becomes stuffed with various items designed to get packs in your hands faster—as well as premium currency.
It’s not unusual for a free-to-play game to honor you with bonuses for investing time into it. Pokémon TCG Pocket is no exception to the rule as you can compare your player level with other players to see who’s progressed further. Pokémon Pocket’s conventional level-up system sees you start from the bottom at Level 1 and encourages you to open packs and battle opponents (AI and human) to earn enough XP to ascend to new heights.
Pokémon TCG Pocket has many levels to rise through and many rewards to earn—and I’ve detailed every single one in this handy guide.
Every Pokémon TCG Pocket level up rewards
You can earn Pack Hourglasses, Poké Gold, Rewind Watches, and Wonder Hourglasses for leveling up in Pokémon TCG Pocket. This is based on my experience with the free-to-play Pokemon title, and as of writing, I’ve reached Level 18—meaning additional rewards may be available at higher levels.
For now, though, try and level up as quickly as you can, get access to these tantalizing rewards, and use them to grow your Pokémon collection.
How to level up fast in Pokémon TCG Pocket
You earn XP and level up by opening packs, completing Wonder Picks, and through Solo and Online battles in Pokémon TCG Pocket.
Battles
Online PvP battles reward you with XP for winning—but only if you win. This can be a harsh mistress, so before doing any of that, I recommend completing all the Step-Up Battles, along with any Promo Event battles. It can take time with battles ranging between 5-15 minutes, but it’s consistent, and a regular XP source.
Packs
Opening up packs gives you instant XP. I’ve already outlined the best ways to get free packs in Pokémon TCG Pocket, so if you can maximize your efforts to do so, you can also level up faster.
Wonder Picks
Finally, if you have enough Wonder Stamina, you can channel this energy and use it to open Wonder Pick packs. The stamina required depends on the contents of the pack—a Wonder Pick containing an EX costs more stamina to open than a set of five common cards. Whichever you decide on, just know you get XP for doing a Wonder Pick pack.
We’re not done with Pokémon TCG Pocket by a long shot. Stick around and find out what the Bent Pack Trick is, as well as how to obtain and apply Flair to cards.
