While the League of Legends ranking system is similar to other games, it does have its own twist.

While the game’s ranked system does follow the traditional Bronze, Silver and so on, it does have a few extra ranks, such as Emerald. Once you get out of Diamond, however, you will be battling against players in Master rank, while trying to climb all the way to Challenger.

Do You Have What It Takes to Hit the Challenger Rank?
League of Legends’ highest rank is Challenger, which players need 500 LP to hit. You will be demoted, however, if you fall below 500 LP or even just fall below the lowest-ranking Challenger player in your region.
League of Legends players do not play around when it comes to ranking, as the game has one of the most competitive and hardest ranking systems to move up out of all other esports.
