Out of context, a giant piece of Tofu suddenly bouncing around in Resident Evil Requiem might seem bizarre, and even with context, it’s just as bizarre. Long-time fans will love this Easter Egg, and it’s not too hard to find.
You might know Kung-Fu, but we know Tofu. Ok, that was poor, and what it was actually meant to say was we know where Tofu is in Resident Evil Requiem. Chances are you’ve heard about this Easter Egg on the internet or somewhere else, so see if it for yourself.
Where To Find Tofu Easter Egg In Resident Evil Requiem

The Tofu Easter Egg is found when you reach RPD in Resident Evil Requiem, and Tofu hangs around outside the wall of the building.
Yes, even though Leon is dealing with the enormity of his T-Virus condition and being hit by the huge wave of nostalgia of being back at the Raccoon Police Department, he is also likely to see a 6ft piece of Tofu with a STARS hat on hiding here and there.

Tofu can appear in different spots around the area, but the one you’re most likely to see him in is either the room with the drawing board, or the long corridor where Leon tells the officer to ‘rest easy.’
How To Trigger Tofu Easter Egg in Resident Evil Requiem
The most popular ways to get Tofu to appear are after beginning Barry’s Scavenger Hunt or after you’ve beaten Super Tyrant, but nobody knows the precise method to make Tofu appear in Resident Evil Requiem.
For a bit of first-hand perspective, the first time I encountered Tofu was in the long corridor past the reception, AFTER starting the scavenger hunt. This doesn’t mean the Super Tyrant idea is wrong, but there’s a good chance people are starting the hunt and not returning to the corridor afterward.

This is the best way to see it for yourself:
- Reach RPD.
- Reach the Reception.
- Shoot down the ladder.
- Go into the S.T.A.R.S. Office.
- Open the locker immediately on the right.
- Pick up Barry’s picture, which has “You kids have fun solving this one” on the back.
- Head down to the corridor opposite the reception, with the zombie police officer walking around.
- Keep walking down, and you should hear a bouncing balloon-like sound nearby.
- Look between the cracks in the walls outside.
- There’s a good chance you’ll see Tofu peaking its body into RPD.
- Tofu can also appear several more times, including the room with the blackboard and a file attached to it.
You can shoot Tofu, and it makes a playful sound, but that’s about it. There’s nothing else to it, and you don’t get any rewards.
What Is The Tofu Easter Egg In Resident Evil Requiem?
The Tofu Easter Egg is a playful nod to ‘The Tofu Survivor’ minigame from the Resident Evil 2 Remake, in which you need to complete ‘The 4th Survivor’ once to unlock various Tofu variations.
In The 4th Survivor, you control Hunk—you can also learn about any possible Hunk appearances in Resident Evil Requiem here—and he needs to escape Raccoon City via RPD. By completing the mini-game once, Capcom playfully lets you complete it again, using Tofu.
