ARC Raiders is best known for being a social extraction adventure. It takes that gritty, punishing concept of an extraction shooter and makes it much more accessible. It’s also known for being a visually striking game with some impressive combat mechanics.
What you might not know is that ARC Raiders also has a stunning wardrobe of post-apocalyptic outfits for players to buy, unlock, and showcase. In this guide, we’re taking a close look at the newest outfit on the list, named Patchwork. Let’s walk through how to get Patchwork in ARC Raiders now that the game’s first Expedition window has hit.
How to Unlock ‘Tutorial Outfit’ in ARC Raiders
You might have heard some people referring to Patchwork as the ‘tutorial outfit’ in ARC Raiders. That’s because players exploring the opening chapter of the game would have been wearing an outfit that they never saw again… Until now.
The Patchwork outfit has reappeared as the main reward of the Expedition Project, a reset event that allows users to wipe their profiles and go for round two in the game.
Here’s the catch:
You can only get the Patchwork Raider outfit in ARC Raiders by completing the Expedition Project.
That means if you don’t want to reset your account, you’ll never unlock that outfit. Embark Studios will likely one day add the skin to the game’s story, but to avoid reducing the impact of the Expedition Project, it will likely be several months before we’re able to buy the skin.
That means that the Patchwork Raider outfit will be fairly exclusive going forward.
If you were hoping for another way to unlock the Patchwork outfit in ARC Raiders, I’m afraid you’re out of luck.
