Taking on Killing Floor 3 isn’t for the faint of heart, so having help through crossplay would make a massive difference.
Killing Floor 3 takes place 70 years after the events of the last game. The year is 2091, and Megacorp managed to produce an army of bio-engineered zombies. It’s up to a rebel group called Nigtfall to prevent a complete outbreak. You and up to five teammates can choose between 6 specialists, all equipped with unique abilities and attacks.
Completing matches unlocks new weapon mods and specialist abilities. While there is a story that can be completed through optional objectives, the main draw of the game is taking out waves of undead enemies. And, it’s much more fun to do so with a group of friends. With that in mind, let’s take a look at whether crossplay is available.
Is There Crossplay in Killing Floor 3?

Killing Floor supports crossplay between PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The number of enemies per horde is scaled based on how large your team is. If you have a whole team of six, there will be more zombies than if you were to play solo. In addition, these zombies are much more challenging than in previous games.
Tripwire Interactive confirmed, “Every enemy has been redesigned with advanced methods of mobility, attack, and re-tuned with smarter AI, making them faster, deadlier, and more strategic than ever.”
That being said, the maps feature turrets, fans, and other traps to help teams. In addition, specialists have access to flamethrowers, shotguns, katanas, and hundreds of mods, gadgets, and skills, which should make surviving easier and more satisfying.
But if you don’t work together and play your roles correctly, none of those gadgets, skills, and traps will make much of a difference.
Does Killing Floor 3 Have Cross-Progression?
There is no official cross-progression or cross-platform support for Delta Force right now, but it is coming once the PlayStation and Xbox versions of the game are released.
If players decide to switch platforms, they will have to start their progression over. And that’s an issue because each Specialist has a skill tree that includes 30 levels. Having to reach level 30 on specialists again is a massive undertaking. So, before you start playing, make sure you are on the platform you plan on sticking to.
