Stop! Read these rules to get to know ThrillCoins better
Before we get stuck into the bonuses of this ThrillCoins review, I want to make sure you know exactly what you’re dealing with at ThrillCoins.
Crucially, this is a sweepstakes casino, NOT a traditional casino. This means that real money is never used and play is for fun only. So, you’ll be ditching the dollars and instead grabbing Gold Coins (GC), the entertainment virtual currency, and Sweeps Coins (SC), the promotional virtual currency.
So far, so simple, but there’s an added twist. While both virtual currencies have no monetary value, Sweeps Coins can potentially be redeemed for real prizes, but only if you meet some requirements. At ThrillCoins, these are:
- You must have at least 100 eligible SC.
- You must play through them at least one time and – this is important – that play must be on the slots.
- You must complete the KYC (Know Your Customer) checks, which means verifying your identity and address. If you can’t or don’t want to do this, SC redemptions won’t be an option for you. Not to worry, KYC is only accomplished right after signing up. Once your account has been verified, you don’t have to do this process for every SC redemption you request.

Welcome bonuses come in all different shapes and sizes, and this one is pretty much bang average. It won’t be winning Miss World anytime soon, but it certainly looks good in a new dress.
What this means from a virtual currency point of view is that you’ll get 50,000 Gold Coins and 1 Sweeps Coin in exchange for signing up, with no optional GC purchases required. I’d say that’s not bad at all.

How to use the ThrillCoins bonus
I’m about to present you with a step-by-step guide on how to get your hands on and then use the welcome bonus, but first, just to clarify: there is no ThrillCoins promo code needed for this bonus.
So, when you reach the promo code box on the registration form, don’t panic; just scroll on by. Right then, here are those instructions:
-
Click here to head to the ThrillCoins website.
-
Click the purple ‘Sign Up’ box in the top right-hand corner.
-
Fill in your details.
-
Choose a password.
-
Tick the ‘Terms of Use’ and ‘Excluded Territories’ boxes (provided you are at least 18 years of age and not based in an excluded US state).
-
Complete the CAPTCHA.
-
Click ‘Sign Up’.
-
Verify your email address and/or mobile phone number if requested.
-
Receive your 50,000 Gold Coins and 1 Sweeps Coin.

Both Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins can be used to play any of the games but remember that any play on non-slot titles (e.g. table games, live dealer games or instant win games) will not count towards the Sweeps Coin redemption playthrough requirement.
Three pro tips for playing at ThrillCoins
It’s one thing having fun at a sweepstakes casino, but how do you have fun like a pro? Follow these three top tips to find out:
💰 If You Are Going to Make a Gold Coin Bundle Purchase, Do It on These Days
You’re never under any obligation to spend money with sweepstakes casinos, so any GC purchase is entirely optional but, if you do decide to make a Gold Coin bundle purchase, you should do it when you get more bang for your buck.
At ThrillCoins, that means making any optional GC purchases on Mondays, when they offer a 10% boost, Wednesdays, when they offer a 15% boost or, best of all, Sundays, when they offer a 20% boost.
📱 Keep Tabs on Telegram
ThrillCoins runs its VIP club through the free instant messaging app Telegram. This is great because it means you’ll get instant notifications whenever any new promos are available. I don’t know about you, but that’s a lot more useful to me than another email in my already flooded inbox.
🎰 Do Your Slots Research
Given that only slot games count towards the Sweeps Coins playthrough requirement, it makes sense to choose which ones you play carefully. Before selecting any title, do your best to not just go with graphics or theme, but instead do a quick web search to check out the RTP and volatility of the games that you’re considering.
Not all slots are made equal and, ultimately, you’re probably better off with a 96% RTP slot than a 92% RTP slot even if the latter has an abundance of cute baby guinea pigs.

Snared your welcome bonus and now on the lookout for even more virtual currency? Excellent, you’re turning into a bonus enthusiast just like me. Here are some more of the currently available ThrillCoins promos:
First GC purchase bonus
As I mentioned earlier in this article, Gold Coin bundle purchases aren’t mandatory at a sweepstakes casino, but they are an option. If you are going to take up that option, these are the three first GC purchase bonuses that are currently available to you:
| Price | Gold Coins | Bonus Sweeps Coins |
|---|---|---|
| $9.99 | 10,000 | 30 |
| $24.99 | 25,000 | 50 |
| $49.99 | 50,000 | 65 |
Considering that you can never buy Sweeps Coins (they can only ever be awarded as bonuses), these are three really good deals, especially the lowest-priced option. To claim one of these bonuses, you just need to log in and click the ‘Buy’ button with the green shopping cart.
Daily wheel spin
On this occasion, you won’t find an 80’s glam rocker, but you will find a slightly less colorful wheel which you can spin once every 24 hours by clicking the ‘Daily Wheel Spin’ button on the website home page. The virtual currency prizes are randomized, but can be as big as 100 Sweeps Coins, which is a lot better than most daily login bonuses offer.
Mail-in bonus
Another commonly seen offer that ThrillCoins does especially well is the mail-in bonus. You’ll find full instructions in the ‘Sweepstakes Rules’ section of the website (linked to at the bottom of the home page), but the basic premise is that by sending a postcard to the business address, you can request four bonus Sweeps Coins. This is roughly twice the average award for this type of promotion.
VIP club
Although you’re not automatically opted in to a VIP club at ThrillCoins, it is super simple to get involved. All you need to do is request access via the Telegram group or by contacting live support. Once you’re safely ensconced within the sweepstakes casino elites, benefits include exclusive ThrillCoins bonus codes, personalized promotions, and much more besides.
My verdict: It’s thrill-a-minute with the ThrillCoins bonuses
Sweepstakes casinos are all about having fun, so it’s great to see that ThrillCoins delivers this in abundance with its bonus offers.
First up, you can get 50,000 Gold Coins and 1 Sweeps Coin just for signing up. Then, there are lots of additional offers available for both new and existing players. Better yet, these promotions are pretty much all well above average compared to similar platforms. For example, the mail-in bonus here is 4 Sweeps Coins, whereas most brands only offer 1-3 SC.
It’s for this reason that I’m very happy to recommend ThrillCoins and, if you like the sound of what I’ve discovered, you can get your own account, plus welcome bonus, by clicking the on-page banners here.
