SpinBlitz was rebranded from Scratchful back in 2024, bringing with it a new look, an upgraded library, and more free spins surprises. I had fun trying out the rebranded site and have detailed my experience in this SpinBlitz review.
While SpinBlitz isn’t a perfect social casino, it’s pretty up there in terms of quality. There’s an exquisite game library backed by 50+ providers and an impressive lineup of bonuses and promotions. The site even has the full range of customer support options. If you were thinking of joining here, come along for the full lowdown.
How SpinBlitz works
SpinBlitz is a sweepstakes casino run by B-Two Operations Limited. It’s a sister site to McLuck, Hello Millions, and Jackpota, and, like those brands, it lets you play games for free and potentially redeem Sweeps Coins for real-money prizes. There are a few core ideas that make SpinBlitz available in the US, even in states where real-money casinos aren’t:
- The site uses Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC) as in-game virtual currencies.
- It provides plenty of these free virtual coin bonuses you can use to enter games at no cost.
- There’s also the option to purchase Gold Coins, but it is optional.
- Only Sweeps Coins are redeemable for real money prizes.
- You have to complete a 1x playthrough on SC bonuses before making a prize redemption request.
SpinBlitz accepts players aged 21 or older from 30+ states. The current prohibited regions are:
- Connecticut
- Delaware
- Idaho
- Indiana
- Kentucky
- Louisiana
- Maryland
- Michigan
- Montana
- Nevada
- New Jersey
- New York
- Washington
- West Virginia
- California
At the time of writing, Tennessee and Maine are soon to be restricted as well. Since availability rules may change, I recommend checking the site's terms of service before you play.
Bonus offer – Standard welcome bonus with free SC spins
SpinBlitz has a standard bonus offer of 7,500 Gold Coins and 2.5 Sweeps Coins. After I received this, the social casino also dropped a surprise free gift of 20 free SC spins valid on select slots. The Gold and Sweeps Coins bonuses are standard fare, but the free SC spins were the real kicker.
New players get a choice of three discounted GC bundles too, with up to 500K GC + 250 SC + free 250 spins available. Since GC purchases are optional, it isn’t mandatory to claim this one. Instead, you can collect more more free rewards via the daily streak bonus, referral bonus, AMOE, social media competitions, and more. I’ve covered the complete promotional package in a separate SpinBlitz promo code guide.
Games are the best part of SpinBlitz
SpinBlitz follows the same template as McLuck and other B-Two Operations platforms, right down to the lobby. Over 1,500 games are available here, and slots are the mainstay. But the social casino has also thrown in a collection of live dealer games, including blackjack tables, roulette wheels, and game shows. They’ve recently added a handful of virtual table and card games as well. There’s a nice selection of scratch-offs and several arcade and instant-win titles like Plinko. I also found a range of Exclusives.
Unfortunately, the social casino doesn't have any fish shooters, but right off the bat, I could tell the quality of the available games was top-tier. M2Play, NetEnt, Red Tiger, Relax Gaming, and Big Time Gaming are among the software devs I found here. SpinBlitz is also one of the few sweepstakes sites that features Playtech games, a leading slot provider.
Aside from the behemoths, this site also has smaller studios that deliver polished games and innovative mechanics, including Ruby Play, Koala Games, and Penguin King. Most RTPs are in the 95%-96.50% range, which is the gold standard. I had to launch the games to find out these values, but other basic info like min and max spin, volatility, and jackpot opt-in are available on the game cards.
Slots and Jackpots
SpinBlitz is a slot emporium. This game category is what fills the lobby for the most part, and the variety is top-notch. Whether you want to play retro and fruit machine classics, Megaways, Hold and Win slots, Cascading Reels, and more, you’ll find them here. You can search by theme, which is a fantastic way to break down the massive slot collection.
And if you play for fun, you’ll want to check out the Gold Coin Exclusive collection. There are also a couple of Unlimited Play games you can enter for just 1 GC per spin. Most games have an entry range of 70- 100 GC minimum, so with 1 GC you can go on playing for much longer. For SC, though, you can always enter from as little as 0.2.
I had fun on quite a number of titles while playing here. Here’s some I recommend trying:
- Pearl Coin Rise (Koala Games)
- Serpent Gold (Penguin King)
- King of the Sky (Playson)
- Aztec Fire (3 Oaks)
Jackpots are plentiful at this site as well. Watch out for provider-hosted pots like Jackpot Hunt (Penguin King) and Power Chance (Playson). SpinBlitz’s very own Blitz Jackpot is also available, offering hourly, daily, and community jackpot prizes to be split 50% to the winner and the remaining portion among 500 participating players. You need to opt in for the jackpot feature to stand a chance of winning.
Live dealer games
There are about 30+ live dealer games at this social casino. Live blackjack and live roulette variants are available, as well as game shows like Bubble Craps and Spin a Win. The collection isn’t as large as those on other sites. However, there are SpinBlitz-branded blackjack tables, and that’s where SpinBlitz shows its quality. This section is powered by ICONIC 21 and Playtech, with a few selections from Vivo Gaming and Enjoy Gaming.
Arcade & Scratchoffs
The arcade category has lots of interesting picks. While there are no fish table games, you can enjoy a similar first-person shooter experience with Chicken Shot or literally take your fishing rod out to sea in Winter Fishing Club. Several fun crash-style games are also available, including Balloon Mania and Coinsweeper. And if you like symbol matching games, try Fruit Blast or Alchemy Blast. SpinBlitz also offers a nice selection of Plinko games and scratchies.
Table & card games
At the time of writing, SpinBlitz had two virtual blackjack tables – Blackjack Spin Blitz and Bonus Wheel 1000 Blackjack. There were also three poker games, namely Deuces Wild Power Poker, Nines or Better Triple Win Power Poker, and Jacks or Better 4000 Power Poker.
Blitz Exclusives
Exclusives are basically games that you can only play at the site, usually as a pre-release from a third-party supplier or a bespoke launch in partnership with an external studio. Exclusives at SpinBlitz are generally slots. Join here now to get a first look at titles like Goats Gold, Blessings of Caishen, and 3 Pigs of Olympus SpinBlitz.
Payments – How to purchase GC and redeem SC at SpinBlitz
Although you can play at this site for free using the free GC and SC bonuses, the option to purchase GC bundles is always available. After looking through the Gold Coin store, there were plenty of great deals that caught my attention, particularly the new player discounted GC packs.
SpinBlitz keeps it old school, accepting only Visa, Mastercard, and Discover for GC purchases. The options are limited, but transactions using these bank cards are instant. You can also pay using cards saved on your Apple Pay or GPay. On the other hand, you can redeem SC for prizes using Bank transfer or Gift Cards.
Here’s the payment overview at SpinBlitz:
| Payment method | GC purchase | SC redemption | SC redemption times |
|---|---|---|---|
| Visa | Yes | No | - |
| Mastercard | Yes | No | - |
| Discover | Yes | No | - |
| Bank transfer | No | Yes | 3- 5 business days |
| Gift cards | No | Yes | Up to 48 hours |
GC purchases were fast, and SC redemptions were standard when I attempted them. If you want to get your prizes really quickly, use the gift card option, which has a 10 SC minimum. Cash prize redemptions are not bad either. The 75 SC limit is actually lower than that of many other sweepstakes sites.
Additionally, only verified accounts can redeem SC for prizes at SpinBlitz, so keep that in mind. You also have to play through your SC bonuses at least once before you can redeem them. The max amount of SC you can redeem is 10,000 per day, except for Florida players, who are limited to 5,000 SC per day.
It’s worth noting that SpinBlitz has a really cheap optional GC pack for $1.99, but the best deals start with the $4.99 GC bundle, which includes 5 free SC. Ultimately, the new player packs are the most generous since they provide up to 250 free SC spins, so if you do decide to buy Gold Coins, I suggest you take your pick from one of those first.
Lots of ways to contact customer support
The customer support at SpinBlitz covers all the bases, including:
- Live chat
- Help center/FAQ section
- Contact form
- Telephone line
However, it does have a few limitations too. Live chat is available only after you've made a GC purchase, and telephone support is for payment-related issues only. I tested out each of these features, and they were all responsive. But email is the best option here, especially if you’re a casual player and can’t access live chat.
A contact form is also available on the help center, and it helps narrow down the problem so the team can provide more useful assistance. Replies also come in within a few hours on average. Although it only covers the most basic account information, you can also refer to the frequently asked questions.
License and security – Everything that points to SpinBlitz’ legitimacy
SpinBlitz is owned and operated by B-Two Operations Limited. So it's a sister site to McLuck, Hello Millions, PlayFame, and others like them. The operator’s reputation usually tells me all I need to know about a brand. But I did the due diligence and checked the security status, Sweeps compliance, and other safety criteria.
B-Two Operations (registration number 021483V) operates out of the Isle of Man. I also found the site uses solid encryption and follows sweepstakes rules to the letter, which is why it only accepts players 21 and above from permitted states.
KYC verification is compulsory before SC prize redemptions, and the array of popular software companies further confirms that this is a safe site. You can only find providers like NetEnt and Playtech on legit platforms. On top of that, SpinBlitz offers several responsible gaming tools to help you control your spending, which you can activate yourself without contacting the support team.
User-friendly site even without an app
SpinBlitz doesn’t do anything too different from its sister sites, but it doesn’t really have to. The template works, so they’ve simply stuck to it. The site is simple but modern, and the lobby is rich with categories. Thanks to game sorting and filters, I had an easy time browsing the library and finding titles.
The top-line navigation displays Slots, Jackpots, Live Dealer, Arcade, and Table Games. On the sidebar, it gets more granular. I could filter by volatility, popularity, or by theme. The site lets me save games to my favorites or pick up where I left off on recently played games. There’s even more game sorting while scrolling down the lobby.
There is no proper SpinBlitz app, but you can add the site to your home screen and still enjoy fast access whenever you want to play. It’s worth noting that Scratchful, the old branding, had an Android app, so SpinBlitz may create a mobile app in the future. And all the same features on PC are replicated on the mobile site. One of the main highlights was how almost every page had a brief article at the bottom explaining what the page was about. It’s incredibly beneficial for newbies, and even experienced players will find it useful.
My SpinBlitz review verdict
SpinBlitz has many more advantages than drawbacks as a social casino. The site needs to add more payment methods, preferably e-wallets. It also doesn’t have a VIP or loyalty program as of yet. But on the flip side, there are plenty of strong suits, including the 1,500+ game library, low SC redemption limits, and an exciting Blitz jackpot.
Again, it's quite similar to its sister sites, so if you liked playing at Jackpota and the likes, then you’ll enjoy the experience here as well. I particularly liked the selection of software providers and found plenty of entertaining titles. The welcome bonus of 7,500 GC + 2.5 SC is a nice deal too, and if you like free SC spins, then you’ll want to join in and grab these surprise gifts. To do so, click on any of the on-page banners.
