How I spent the first few minutes of this PICKEM review
I was excited to complete this PICKEM review, but the early stages of my research focused on a few key areas. Let’s take a closer look:
Refreshing my mind on the sweepstakes rules
Having reviewed several hundred sweepstakes casinos, I’m incredibly familiar with the setup. But it’s always good to start with a reminder. There are two virtual currencies at PICKEM: Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins. Both can be obtained via promotional offers, but only Gold Coins can be purchased voluntarily from the store. They are used to play casino-style games in the following modes:
- Gold Coins = standard mode
- Sweeps Coins = promotional mode
In standard mode, you can accumulate more Gold Coins, but they are only used to play casino-style games for fun. However, in promotional mode, any additional Sweeps Coins you receive can be redeemed for cash prizes.
Downloading the PICKEM mobile app
PICKEM is designed primarily for mobile sweepstakes gamers, and that’s immediately obvious from the homepage, which provides a link to download the native app. For Android users, the app is available on the Google Play Store, while iOS users can download from the App Store.
It took a few minutes to install the app on my phone, and only a small amount of storage was required. The app performed to a high standard, with smooth gameplay, mobile-friendly navigation, and no obvious technical issues or bugs. Not to forget, you also get app-exclusive features, including biometric logins and push notifications.
Claiming the sign-up bonus on registration
The PICKEM bonus I claimed immediately after logging into my new account for the first time included 50,000 Gold Coins and 1 free Sweeps Coin. This really went a long way in helping me get started at this sweepstakes casino, particularly since the minimum plays are so low on most casino-style games. The registration process was also incredibly easy, taking only a few minutes from start to finish.
If you would like to claim the sign-up bonus for yourself when joining this sweepstakes casino, click the link in the banner above. This ensures you automatically opt in for PICKEM welcome offers.
Is PICKEM a trusted brand in the sweepstakes casino space?
The fact that PICKEM has a native Android and iOS app is a good sign of its legitimacy, as these app stores have notoriously strict requirements. The brand is also operated by Joyloop, Inc which is a US business registered in Delaware. Even the social media channels for PICKEM Social check out, with high follower counts and solid engagement on each post.
But I dug a level below this for my PICKEM review, looking at the various features the sweepstakes casino offered. SSL encryption was the most obvious one, helping keep my data safe as I played. You can also expect access to player control tools to encourage responsible play.
Ranking my favorite casino-style game categories at PICKEM
With over 1,500 casino-style games from a wide variety of software providers, there was certainly plenty to explore in this PICKEM sweepstakes casino review. Here are my favorite categories ranked:
#1 – PICKEM Originals
PICKEM Originals were easily my favorite genre to play at this sweepstakes casino, and that’s partly because they’re exclusive to PICKEM. There are 18 of these in-house developed titles at the time of writing, although more could be on the horizon. Each of these titles offers something different, whether it’s the simple, fast-paced rounds in games like Plinko and Dice or the creative mechanics of Cross the Road and Cross the Lake.
#2 – Sweepstakes slots
Sweepstakes slots make it to the second spot on my list, thanks to the variety that they provide. If you’re into Megaways games, you can play titles like Magic Mummy Megaways and Legend of Cleopatra Megaways. But if cascading reels are more your style, you’ve got games like Le Cowboy and Eye of the Panda. If Megaways and cascading reels feel too modern for you, take things back in time with classic slots like Fruity Diamond Stacks and Timeless Diamonds.
#3 – Live social casino games
The live social casino games are powered largely by Iconic 21, including baccarat, blackjack, roulette, and game shows. These games are hosted by professional dealers in real time, rather than the RNGs (Random Number Generators) you find in virtual games. But don’t worry, you get multiple camera angles to ensure everything is fair and above board.
Honorable mention: Arcade games
The arcade game category didn’t quite make it to my top three favorites, but it definitely deserves a shoutout. You can access this category from the main menu in the games lobby, and it includes scratchcards, crash games, fish shooters, and more. If you ever check out this collection, I recommend playing titles like Street Power, Chaos Crew Scratch, and Chicken Shot.
How playing sweepstakes games unlocks VIP progression
I was glad to see a VIP program with eight tiers featured in this PICKEM review. It’s surprising how few sweepstakes casinos actually offer these programs, as they provide an excellent incentive to keep coming back. Whenever I played sweepstakes casino games at PICKEM, I received VIP points, which helped me advance through the program's tiers. The only exception to this is the final tier, GOAT, which must be unlocked through an invitation from the support team.
The higher my tier, the better the rewards. Here are a few examples:
- Coinback rewards up to 10%
- Birthday gift up to 5,000,000 GC and 500 SC
- Referral commission rate boosted by up to 10%
- Reward on daily streak up to 50,000 GC and 5 SC
- Daily mission rewards up to 15,000,000 GC and 1,500 SC
What payment methods are accepted at PICKEM?
The accepted payment methods that I found during this PICKEM Social review included Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Skrill, and bank transfer. However, the availability of these payment methods varied depending on the type of transaction: a voluntary GC purchase or SC redemption. On top of this, ID verification was required before I could make or receive a payment.
Optional Gold Coin purchases
Gold Coin purchases are optional and not required to play at PICKEM. That said, with Gold Coin bundles starting at just $4.99, this can still be an appealing feature. You can also make payments with any of the previously listed payment methods, all of which are protected by SSL encryption and offer instant processing. A welcome bonus of up to 125% is also available for your first voluntary GC purchase.
Here is a snapshot of the GC bonus bundles available:
- 200,000 GC for $9.99, plus 20 free SC
- 450,000 GC for $19.99, plus 45 free SC
- 750,000 GC for $44.99, plus 75 free SC
Redeeming Sweeps Coins for prizes
You must have 100 or more Sweeps Coins that have been played at least once each on eligible sweepstakes slots to redeem a cash prize. With the minimum 100 redeemable Sweeps Coins, you’ll receive a prize equal to $100 if approved. The average processing times are between 1 and 5 business days, depending on your chosen payment method. For example, Skrill, Visa, and Mastercard are typically faster than bank transfer.
My experience contacting the PICKEM support team
The live chat was the main support channel I used throughout this PICKEM Social review. I particularly liked that the interface includes embedded FAQs, allowing you to quickly browse for relevant information before connecting with a member of the support team. The live chat itself was also very user-friendly, with features such as the ability to attach screenshots, send voice notes, and quickly minimize the chat when needed.
I used the live chat to connect with human agents on several occasions, testing them on topics such as payments, verification, technical issues, security, account management, and more. Every agent I met was extremely professional, and since the chat was available 24/7, I always received a response within 5 minutes. They also provided a relevant solution to every issue raised, ensuring I could get back to playing my favorite games.
Final verdict: Is PICKEM Social worth your time?
PICKEM has become one of my favorite sweepstakes casinos to play recently, and it’s a brand I can confidently recommend. I love the focus on mobile-friendly play with native apps, smooth navigation, and strong performance. This makes it easy to browse an impressive selection of sweepstakes slots, original games, live dealers, and more. You can also expect generous promotions, excellent security, 24/7 support, and fast payments.
