How DexyPlay works
Before we get into the hard-and-fast details of what DexyPlay offers, I want to explain how the site works. DexyPlay operates as a sweepstakes casino, which means all gaming is completely free. Since you can’t play using real money on the site, most US states allow DexyPlay to offer its services to residents.
When you play at DexyPlay, you’ll use three virtual currencies: Gold Coins (GC), Super Coins (SC), and Free Plays (FP). Each of these has a different function, which I’ve outlined below:
Gold Coins (GC)
The virtual currency you’ll likely use the most at DexyPlay is Gold Coins (GC). You can only use these for gameplay, and they have no value, as they cannot be redeemed for prizes. I found them pretty easy to get – through promos or by purchasing them in bundles, though this is completely optional.
Super Coins (SC)
Super Coins (SC) serve two purposes. Firstly, you can use them to play games in promotional or sweepstakes mode, but you can also collect them and redeem them for real prizes. Before you can redeem your SC, you’ll need to collect at least 100 and play through them at least once. There are a few ways to accumulate SC: through gameplay, promos, or as freebies in GC bundles.
Free Plays (FP)
One virtual currency I came across that’s unique to DexyPlay is Free Plays. The only way to get them is through promotions. Each one lets you play a specific game without dipping into your Super Coins (SC) balance, and anything you collect from a Free Play is added to your account as SC. From there, it counts toward a prize redemption just like any other SC, once you meet the requirements.
Bonuses and promos at DexyPlay
Now that we know how DexyPlay works, let’s move on to the next part of my DexyPlay review and talk about bonuses.
The first bonus I came across on the site was the welcome offer. After registering a profile, DexyPlay automatically rewarded me with 250,000 GC. Once I verified my email, they gave me an additional 50,000 GC, and I didn’t even need a DexyPlay promo code.
This 300,000 GC welcome bonus is impressive, but it would have been great to get a few free SC in there, too. I found plenty of ongoing bonuses at DexyPlay, too:
| DexyPlay ongoing bonus | What it offers |
|---|---|
| First GC purchase bonus (optional) | 100% on First Purchase: Up to 500K GC + 30 SC FREE + 10FP |
| Daily Login Offer | Claim up to 1.1M GC, 65 SC and 110 FP in 7 days! |
| AMoE/Mail-in deal | 1 SC free or 5 Free Plays |
| Treasure Drop | Spin the wheel every 24 hours to win GC, SC, or FP |
| Social media promos | Follow DexyPlay on social media to unlock exclusive promos offering GC, SC, and FP |
DexyPlay’s VIP program
One of the top features I found on DexyPlay was its VIP program. While most sweepstakes casinos have VIP clubs with 7 to 10 tiers, DexyPlay’s has a whopping 24 tiers.
You don’t have to worry about getting signed up, either – you’re automatically enrolled the minute you sign up. Movement up the tiers is based on how much you play, with each new level leading to bigger and better perks and bonuses
Here is a quick overview of what this program has to offer:

What’s the vibe at DexyPlay
DexyPlay gives me the same vibe as a late-90s video or arcade-style game. Its dark background contrasted with vibrantly colored text and game thumbnails certainly catches your attention.
If you were thinking sleek or structured, this site is certainly not that and borders on being cluttered. With that said, I found the sweepstakes casino fairly easy to use – all the menus are well-labeled, and everything from promos to games is well-signposted.
The games on the site load quickly, and I didn’t experience any glitching. Customer support and the live chat option were also simple to find, which is great, because there is nothing worse than having to search for help when you need it most.
Using DexyPlay on mobile
Currently, there isn’t a downloadable DexyPlay app for iOS or Android. That doesn’t mean you can’t play on mobile, though.
I accessed the site using my mobile web browser and found the site loaded pretty quickly. It’s fully optimized for mobile web app use, so DexyPlay’s site adjusts to fit the size of your device’s screen.
All the same promos, games, bonuses, and features are available on the mobile platform, and load surprisingly fast. While you won’t find the convenience of a downloadable app, the overall gaming is first-rate.

DexyPlay’s games lobby is vast, with over 1,700 games available for you to play. I found that the style of games focuses largely on slots, with options like Bonus Buys, Bonus Combos, Hold’n Link, Megaways, and Hold-and-Win. But there are several other gaming styles added to the mix.
Slots at DexyPlay
DexyPlay offers over 1,400 slots, from Megaways and fixed jackpots to Hold-and-Wins and classic 3-reel games. You’ll also find a tab dedicated to new games, where you can find the latest slot titles added to the site. With multiple themes and styles, you’re spoiled for choice. Here are some of my top picks:
- Duck Hunters – NoLimit City
- Gonzo’s Quest – NetEnt
- Grand Buffalo Hold and Win – BGaming
Live gaming
If you prefer table games and want a more immersive gaming experience, it’s worth checking out DexyPlay’s Live Lounge. Here, I found over 50 live dealer games, from blackjack and roulette to sports-based live games, and even Keno. Some of the top titles include:
- Bubble Crapless Craps
- Gravity Wheel
- Auto Roulette

Payments and SC redemptions at DexyPlay
Next up in my DexyPlay review – a look at your payment and SC redemption options.
Payment options
DexyPlay lets you purchase optional GC bundles. When I went to purchase one of these GC bundles, I found that you really only have two payment options: Visa or Mastercard debit or credit cards.
SC redemptions
Depending on where you’re playing from, DexyPlay lets you redeem your SC. You’ll need to have collected over 100 SC and have played through each of them at least 1x before they’re eligible for redemption. DexyPlay also requires that you’ve verified your ID through KYC checks and made at least one GC bundle purchase.
SC redemption options at DexyPlay are a little more diverse than those I found for GC purchases, with Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, and ACH bank transfers all offered. Once you’ve made your SC redemption request, you should get your prize within 3 to 5 working days.

Is DexyPlay legit?
One question that I really wanted answered was, is DexyPlay legit? I quickly found that yes, it is. As a sweepstakes casino, DexyPlay isn’t required to hold a license from a gaming authority, so the lack of a license isn’t surprising.
The site is still legit and incredibly safe, and it has to meet various requirements to operate in states across the US. If you review the sweepstakes casino’s terms and conditions, you’ll quickly see they don’t mess around with player safety or compliance. Here are some of the key T&Cs I found:
- You cannot play at the site if you’re under 21.
- Players in restricted states may not sign up and use DexyPlay
- Any optional GC purchase you make must be from a payment method linked to your name
- You may not create or hold more than one DexyPlay account
- DexyPlay has the right to close your account if it’s inactive for 60+ days
Accessibility – where is DexyPlay allowed?
As mentioned above, players from restricted states cannot sign up with DexyPlay or claim the site’s promos. This is because not all US states allow sweepstakes or even social gaming, and some even prohibit sweepstakes casinos. If you live in one of these restricted states, the DexyPlay homepage won’t load, and you’ll see a “Restricted” landing page instead.
If you live in any of the states I’ve listed below, you won’t be able to play at DexyPlay:
- California
- Connecticut
- Delaware
- Idaho
- Indiana
- Louisiana
- Maine
- Michigan
- Montana
- New Jersey
- Nevada
- New York
- Oklahoma
- Rhode Island
- Tennessee
- Washington
- West Virginia
- Wyoming
It’s also important to note that if you live in a state like California where only social gaming is permitted, you’ll only be able to play using Gold Coins at DexyPlay, with no possible SC redemption options.
DexyPlay’s customer support
One feature of the site I couldn’t ignore is the customer support. Right off the bat, I noticed there is no FAQ section, which isn’t great. They do have a “How It Works” option under the menu, but this briefly explains how sweepstakes gaming works and little else.
The customer support options that are available include:
- 24-hour live chat
- Email contact: [email protected]
The live chat starts off with a bot but moves over to a live support team member if your query is more personalized. I found the team here responsive, friendly, and helpful. Email support takes a little longer, with response times taking anywhere from an hour to a day.
DexyPlay is legit sweepstakes casino with plenty to offer
As a new sweepstakes casino, DexyPlay has a lot to offer, including high-value bonuses, over 1,700 quality games, and responsive customer support. The only downside is that you’ll need to make at least one optional GC bundle purchase before you can redeem SC for prizes. But if you’re there purely for gameplay, that shouldn’t be a problem.
If you’ve enjoyed my DexyPlay review and want to test out the sweepstakes casino for yourself, click the on-page banners to get started and claim the 300,000 GC welcome bonus.
