Based on what I learned from my Casinio review, this sweepstakes casino offers hundreds of casino-style games, including the usual suspects like slots and table games. Aside from those, you can also try a few arcade-style games.
To give me a shot at testing these games, I was given an instant bonus of 200,000 Gold Coins (GC) and 4 Sweeps Coins (SC). It’s quite a considerable amount bigger than most sweepstakes casinos, which I appreciated. I’d be lying if I said I managed to work through my entire virtual currency balance, though - I definitely didn’t.
200% Extra Up to 1000 SC FREE
The welcome bonus will surely get you spinning
Just by turning up and creating an account, you will be presented with one of the best sign-up offers I’ve seen in a long time. To give you something to compare it to, the average bonus these days is around 100,000 GC and 2 SC. That said, plenty of sites also offer 7,500 GC and 2 SC. Here, you will receive 200,000 GC and 4 SC, which is divided into two chunks:
- 100,000 GC and 2 SC for completing the KYC checks.
- 100,000 GC and 2 SC for verifying your email and phone number.
The size of this bonus is awesome. As a casual player, I still have quite a large amount sitting in my account, ready for another day. Naturally, how long it’ll last will depend on your gaming style, but it’s a great bonus that can last a pretty long time.
As you can see, there are a few steps required before you will get the Casinio bonus. To release the full offer, you will be asked to submit a copy of your government-issued ID and proof of address, i.e., a recent utility bill. You will then be sent an OTC to verify your email address and phone number. Once those steps have been done, your bonus will be credited to your account in full.
Claim 200% extra in your first GC pack
Casinio has a Gold Coin store, just like most sweepstakes casinos. Inside the store, you will find a special bonus for your first GC bundle. Now, to be clear, these GC packages are 100% optional. If you want to give yourself a boost, these GC bundles are a great way of doing that. On your first GC purchase, you will be offered 200% extra, giving you 3,000 GC for $9.99, alongside 30 free SC.
Casinio’s selection of casino-style games is spot-on
If I had to design my own game lobby, it would look a lot like the one at Casinio. No, it’s not perfect, but I’ve yet to meet a sweepstakes casino that is. I ticked off a lot of the categories I look for, including slots, table games, arcade-style games, and a live dealer section. These games have been built by top software providers, including the likes of 3 Oaks Gaming, ICONIC21, and Jili.
Here’s a little taste of what you can expect to find at Casinio:
| Game Category | Example Titles |
|---|---|
| Slots | Mortal Bromance, Rainbow Stacks, 3 Dumpling Fortune, and Sun of Egypt 3. |
| Table Games | Blackjack Singlehand VIP, European Roulette, and Baccarat. |
| Live Dealer Games | Gravity Blackjack, Coin Flip, Fast Lane Classic, Royale Roulette, and Crash Live. |
| Arcade-style Games | 10k Dice, Plinko, Pilot. |
Overall, the library at Casinio is one of the best that I have tried. There’s a little bit of everything, offering classic virtual tables, slots, and live dealers. Even in the live dealer area, I discovered some standout game shows that crossover with the arcade-style games. I think the only thing Casinio is missing is a few in-house games, but I appreciate that not every sweepstakes casino offers these, so I’m not holding it against them by any means.

Casinio’s easy to move around, but I noticed a few areas to improve
The website is modern, and you instantly recognize it as a sweepstakes casino through the branding. It looks and feels a lot like other sweepstakes casinos on the market, but I don’t mean that in a bad way - it’s familiar, which is always a good thing. The sidebar is the main navigation tool, which hosts links to the games, promotions, and so on. Pretty much, you’ll be using the sidebar as your main way to move around.
What I did quickly notice, though, is that there are only two game categories: your usual casino-style games and a live dealer section. For me, it’s not enough. The first category hosts the slots, table games, and arcade-style games. So, you can imagine it’s pretty difficult to find anything with such a big mixture. The easiest way to find games here is by using the search bar, but if you don’t know the exact title, you’re a little bit stuck.
You can filter games by providers, though, which I appreciated. The search bar also fires out game suggestions, which is a nice touch. I’d personally like to see a few more categories to divide up the games further. Plus, a few extra filters wouldn’t go amiss, either - RTP, volatility, theme, minimum play, and so on.

Payments: GC packs and redeeming eligible SC
If you choose to buy bundles of Gold Coins or redeem your eligible Sweeps Coins for prizes, then you’re going to want to hear all about the payment methods and options. First of all, the GC packages are available from $24.99 to $999.99, which is something for most players. If you want to spend a little less than $24.99, then there’s a custom option, where you can build tailored packs from $1.99.
Your payments can be processed through an array of options, including debit and credit cards like Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. These methods process your payments instantly, so there’s no lengthy waiting time.
As for redeeming prizes, this is done with redeemable SC. To qualify, your SC bonuses must be played through at least once first. Then, you should collect a minimum of 100 eligible SC. What surprised me is that even though there are both cash prize and gift card options, you still need to collect 100 SC. Usually, gift cards come with lower requirements, which would be good to see here.
Customer support is always open and offers quick resolutions
The main channel for customer support is the live chat - no surprises here. It’s open 24/7, so you can reach out to a live agent whenever you happen to be online. It’s frustrating whenever I spot a live chat with strict hours, because many players don’t hang around during standard work hours. When I put the live chat to the test, I was pleased to be connected with a live agent straightaway. That’s right, no AI chatbot in sight.
The responses were script-like and were copied/pasted, but in-depth. I always worry when responses aren’t typed individually because there’s a chance it’ll skip over vital bits of my question. This isn’t the case here. Everything I asked was answered in a single response, whether it was typed or copied/pasted.
There’s also a solid FAQ page, offering a range of topics to browse. I found answers to a lot of basic queries that many newbies will have. Topics included the likes of verification, games, account settings, and virtual currencies. If you’re not sure how something works, I recommend heading here first. You might be surprised by the quality of the answers you’ll find.
I did a lot of digging and clarified that Casinio is legit
Like I do with all of my reviews, I checked out the brand to make sure that everything is above board. Casinio might be one of the newer sweepstakes casinos on the scene, but it’s hitting all the marks for me at the moment. To start with, there’s a strict KYC check, which means that the site cares about only accepting permitted players. Many sites only require these checks before you attempt to redeem a prize, but Casinio needs it done before you can even start playing.
What I found to be a nice touch is that you can access your full transaction history. This helps to keep you in check by giving you a chance to hold yourself accountable. If you want to clarify how much you have spent on Gold Coins or how much value in SC redemptions you’ve redeemed, it’s all there. You can even customize the timeframe.
You can join the VIP program to level up your gaming
When you create an account at Casinio, you aren’t enrolled in the VIP program initially. Instead, you will need to start interacting with the site’s features and playing games. When the team thinks you have proven your loyalty a little, you will receive an invitation via email. From there, you can improve your VIP status by simply being an active member and contributing to the community. Instead of a point-based approach, Casinio has opted for a more activity-based system.
Overall, your engagement is what will help to level you up. So, while playing games is a part of this, it’s also about buying Gold Coin packs, unlocking promotions, and generally being active on the site. No individual thing you do will make or break your progress. Instead, the team will get a whole picture of your contribution and determine if you should level up or not. As you do make progress, you’ll receive benefits like daily coinback, VIP support, faster prize redemptions, and weekly GC purchase offers.
Conclusion: Casinio has what it takes to become a huge brand on the scene
Casinio might be new around here, but it’s getting off on a great start. The game library is awesome and offers a range of categories that many players enjoy. I think there’s a bit of improvement needed, especially with finding your way around the games, but that’s an easy fix, in all honesty. The generous welcome bonus is one of the best I’ve seen in a while, so Casinio is certainly competitive. If you want to get your hands on this offer to see how Casinio compares, all you need to do is click the on-page banners to get started.
