Is Global Poker Worth It Or Should You Skip Their Welcome Bonus?
- Up to 5 SC attached to the welcome offer, which is high
- Low 50 SC minimum redemption
- Accessible in 39 states
- Bonus is unavailable in 11 states.
As you can see, the positives outweigh the negatives, making the Global Poker bonus worth claiming.
Is It Only For New Players?
Yes, the Global Poker Casino welcome offer only applies to new players. If you already have an account with the operator, you won’t be able to create another account to claim this offer again. Similar to other sweepstakes brands, this violates the operator’s terms and conditions. Fortunately, there are other bonuses for existing players, all of which we’ll cover in the section at the bottom of the page.
Where Can I Sign Up?
You can sign up for an account and claim the Global Poker welcome bonus from 39 states, including AL, AK, AZ, AR, CO, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, ME, MD, MA, MN, MO, NE, NH, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WV, WI, and WY.
This is a long list of Global Poker legal states, which makes it very accessible in our opinion. We have found social casino sites available in far fewer states, but Global Poker offers more options. For now, this bonus is inaccessible if you are in the following excluded states:
- California
- Connecticut
- Delaware
- Idaho
- Louisiana
- Michigan
- Montana
- Nevada
- New Jersey
- New York
- Washington
In terms of requirements, you must be at least 18 years old to play here. However, some states set the minimum age for online gaming at 21. If you are located in any of these states, you’ll need to follow the minimum age requirements in that state.
Can I Cash Out Real Prizes?
You can’t cash out from Global Poker, since it is not a real money casino. However, you can redeem your SC winnings for real money prizes.
To do this, you must have a minimum of 10 SC – 50 SC, which have been played through at least once. You’ll also need to have completed the KYC requirement on the platform by uploading your government-issued ID and proof of address before you can redeem SC winnings.
These are pretty standard and no different from other platforms. Note that you may need to wait up to 10 business days for your SC redemption to be processed, depending on your payment method.
| Payment method | Time | Redemption Max/Min |
|---|---|---|
| Online banking | 1 – 10 business days | 50 SC |
| Skrill | 1 – 10 business days | 50 SC |
| Gift card | Up to 24 hours | 10 SC |
Does It Include Free Spins?
No, the Global Poker bonus offer does not come attached with free spins. But this is not an issue since you get GC and free SC Coins, which you can use to spin the reels on a slot game for free.
This bonus works just like free spins, and we consider it even better since it does not restrict you to specific slot games in most cases, like regular free spins.
For instance, if you play the Panda Warrior slot using 100 Gold Coins per spin, you’ll get at least 1,000 free spins from the 100,000 GC received from your welcome bonus. If you move to sweepstakes mode and play with 0.1 Sweeps Coins per spin, the 5 free SC will get you at least 50 free spins.

Our Global Poker Review: Do We Agree With What Players Say?
One thing we like to do when reviewing a bonus is to confirm our experience is not unique to me. For this reason, we checked out what other players had to say about Global Poker on review sites like Trustpilot. Unfortunately, the operator has a rating of only 1.7 out of 5 stars, which is relatively low.
We reviewed common player complaints, and many stemmed from the overall user experience and payment issues. This was hard for us to agree with, considering we did not experience any of these problems. But we don’t find this surprising, since experiences tend to vary depending on your needs.
Redeeming our SC winnings from the bonus was swift, and using the site was not an issue. Fortunately, there were still many recent positive reviews, many of which praised the generous signup bonus and fast SC redemption time.
Our Global Poker No Purchase Bonus Approach
Based on our experience with various no-purchase bonuses, we recommend playing high RTP titles and those with low minimum spins. Titles in this category can significantly extend your playtime.
One of the slot games we recommend is Western Gold. This title supports as little as 1 GC per spin. This means you can expect at least 100,000 free spins if you play using all your free GC. It also offers an above-average RTP of 96.26%, which is excellent in the long run.
We also suggest checking out table games like blackjack featured at Global Poker. This table game has a potential RTP of over 99%, making it a great option if you want to improve your chances of winning.
Another strategy we recommend and also implement regularly is using Gold Coins to play first. As is evident with the sign-up bonus, you get more Gold Coins than Sweeps Coins from bonuses.
This makes them better for practice runs while saving your Sweeps Coins for when you know what games you like.
Other Ways to Claim Free Money on Global Poker Casino
Global Poker is a sweepstakes online casino and does not offer you free money. However, it gives you access to free Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins through frequent bonus offers, which we’ve broken down below.
- Get 5 free SCs through a mail-in request: Send a handwritten letter following the requirements on the Global Poker sweeps page, and you can claim up to 5 free SCs per eligible letter. You can send this multiple times every month, but there is no guarantee on how many will be successful.
- Log in daily to get 1,000 GC and 0.25 free SC: Sign into your account every 24 hours, and Global Poker will credit you with 1,000 GC + 0.25 SC. If you log into your account successfully every day, you can claim up to 30,000 GC + 7.5 SC over a month.
- Social media giveaways: Follow Global Poker on Facebook, where it frequently runs easy puzzles and quizzes. Answer correctly, and you can claim free Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins.
