I went through the categories and im sorry but all the categories have the same issues as The Game Awards and other websites. Like, where's Tekken 8, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Metaphor and the year isn't over yet. Indiana Jones releases in a few more days. I mean come on.
All these game of the year awards events regardless of the site and whatnot are always nothing more than a sales, advertising and marketing event than an actual awards show celebrating the games and the thousands of people who make them. It's so sad in my opinion.

While I appreciate the response to the nominees. There is no sales/advertising/marketing on our end. The picks came directly from our staff based on what they viewed as the best games of the year. We aren't being paid for any publicity for these games. We're simply doing a year-end vote for the enjoyment of everyone.
