I did not, the queue system was not on my side and it had sold out near immediately.

I did manage to pick up an Edge controller though!

I've seen that people on ebay are already selling them at 400% markup and above. Feel like Sony could've done so much more to avoid that outcome but didn't.

Nah didn't bother. I'm not too interested in a mid-gen refresh to be honest and I'm not convinced what I'd want it to achieve (6ofps on quality settings) it can achieve. I'd be bummed to get it and the games I want to play still cannot do what I'm looking for.

It was a 3 hour ordeal just to get the regular. Sony fucked up because I would have gotten the anniversary bundle if I could and it sounds like many others as well. Left money on the table.

I bookmarked & opened the order page the night before & set an alarm for every hour to wake up & check as I wasn't sure what time the queue would go live. Got to 9am UK time, reluctantly got up absolutely knackered & I still couldn't see anything about queuing or pre orders going live. I then realised I had the wrong webpage open all along

Still nothing, last update from the distributors here was that they did not get any allocation. I'm sure we'll get it eventually but yeah, earliest I expect pre-orders to open is in October

The queue system is really bad. In Japan you could only join the queue if you had an active PS account that had more than 30 hours of gameplay between 2014 and now. Wish we had that here.

Maybe local law is preventing them from implementing such stuff here?
