Racking Up
8 Pool Stars features five reels backdropped by a pool table and billiards hall.
Two attractive hosts are positioned on either side of the reels, each holding a cue stick and looking ready to play.
While there are five reels, the grid is a bit different from traditional slots. It’s a diamond with three rows on the far left and right, then two reels of four rows, and a single middle reel with five rows.
The slot features some nice graphics and uses billiards balls as symbols for traditional playing cards as well as some other pool players who can bring some decent payouts when connecting winning combinations.
The green player pays out the most with 1,500 for finding five, 750 for four, and 300 for three.
The golden eight ball serves as the game’s wild to complete more winning combinations. This symbol also leaves Match ‘N’ Link frames behind that can also turn into Wilds.
A set of balls in a rack also serves as the Bonus and Scatter symbol. Find three of these to bring about at least eight free games with Match ‘N’ Link frames carrying over.
A bonus wheel before each game also reveals the number of golden eight balls that will fall during each spin.
8 Pool Stars has some great graphics and the soundtrack is also solid with some laid-back tunes that seem fitting for pocketing some balls (and playing some slots).
The game’s max payout is 1.5 million coins with bets from 100 to 1,000 coins. This medium-volatility game also brings a hefty maximum multiplier of 1,500x.
