Neste s\u00e1bado, uma not\u00edcia triste foi divulgada: a Umanimation, est\u00fadio respons\u00e1vel por Dordogne, foi fechada. O comunicado<\/a> foi emitido por Aymeric Castaring, o CEO e fundador da Umanimation, em sua p\u00e1gina no LinkedIn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De acordo com Aymeric, a empresa estava passando por grandes dificuldades. Dordogne n\u00e3o estava gerando nenhuma receita para a companhia, e, al\u00e9m disso, eles n\u00e3o conseguiram nenhum contrato para um pr\u00f3ximo game e tampouco investidores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A ind\u00fastria de jogos est\u00e1 passando por um grande processo de desinvestimento, com v\u00e1rios fundos e investidores optando por remover suas participa\u00e7\u00f5es no setor. De 2024 pra c\u00e1 j\u00e1 foram quase 20 mil pessoas demitidas, dezenas de est\u00fadios fechados e v\u00e1rios jogos tiveram seu fim decretado, como Dauntless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O projeto mais recente da Umanimation foi Dordogne, um indie excelente com uma dire\u00e7\u00e3o de arte que lembra uma aquarela jog\u00e1vel. Chega a ser ir\u00f4nico. Um dos principais temas que o jogo aborda \u00e9 a manifesta\u00e7\u00e3o de nossas mem\u00f3rias e lembran\u00e7as.
